We are honored and excited to offer a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification Program. Our program is small and very in-depth, we are currently accepting just 4 students for this coming Yoga Teacher Training & Mentor program. We dive deeply into the material, giving you a solid understanding of Yoga through the ages through to its modern standing. This is a school for students who want to explore "self inquiry" and want a strong knowledge of the philosophical, historical an theological realm of Yoga along with feeling confident to safely work with and adjust their students before they embark on a teaching journey. Finding a 200 hour certification program is easy if you are looking for minimum requirements that any "Yoga Alliance School" is educationally required to give you. We cover all of the required Yoga Alliance topics but go in further depth with many of the historical & philosophical aspects and give you hands on experience. In addition to your primary instructor, we are honored to be able to offer "live" streaming interviews with Yoga Philosophy and Yoga History experts and guest speakers who's goals are to provide true wisdom in the study of Yoga. We offer a 6 to 12 month program, based upon your ability to cover the material and get your contact hours in, keeping in mind that all of the non-contact time requirements, reading and homework need to be completed prior to being eligible to receive certification and to apply for Yoga Alliance Registration. Though this program is very in depth. it is not exhaustive and you will find there is so much more material to cover as you learn. Want to be an exceptional teacher? - My teachers, who I hold immense gratitude and respect for are:
My yoga practice started as a basic Hatha practice over 10 years ago but in 2012 I tried Ashtanga and that became my primary practice. Prior to establishing Grace Studio, I worked for several years with clients at Hoyt Chiropractic Center assisting them with Massage Therapy and Yoga postures that would help reduce pain and increase mobility for injuries and chronic pain. This led me to earn my 200 hour certification in Yoga and then to further my studies with the 800 hour program at the "Traditional Yoga Studies" in Southern Saskatchewan, Canada. In addition to the work I do at Grace Studio, I also teach Ashtanga Yoga Asana at The Big White Barn in Readfield, ME, The Silo Workshop in Mount Vernon, ME and Chill Yoga in Lewiston, ME.
